Middle school students hosted at state capitol by State Rep. Billy

On February 28, The About Face Academy participated in Alternative Education Day at the Oklahoma State Capitol. The About Face Academy is the only middle school alternative facility of the Oklahoma City Public School District.
Barbara Thomas, Chickasaw/ Creek art teacher, showed drawings created by her students Donnell Smith, Angel Gonzales, and Roberto Perez.
State Rep. Lisa Billy, a Chickasaw, took time out of her busy schedule to speak with Ms. Thomas and her students and take pictures.
