Benjamin Bigbie receives Regents’ Award from University of Oklahoma President David L. Boren.

NORMAN, Okla. -Benjamin J. Bigbie, a Chickasaw, was recently honored with the Regents’ Award for Outstanding Juniors at The University of Oklahoma.

Twelve juniors are selected for this award based on excellence in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership and service to the university community. This award is the highest honor bestowed on juniors by the university community.

Mr. Bigbie was also recently selected to the Alpha of Oklahoma Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa Scholastic Honor Society.

He is the son of Bane and Melanie Bigbie, of Norman; the grandson of Bane and Faye Bigbie, of Ringling, Okla., and Ann Eldridge, of Tulsa; and is the great-grandson of Anne Wise, of Okmulgee, Okla.
